‘Drowning in it’ is a dream pop/shoegaze gem by Denver band moodlightning. On this track they successfully manage to capture the energy of a live band. The song has very dreamlike atmosphere and I especially enjoy its capturing rawness, in connection with pleasantly eerie melodies.
The band released their debut album ‘Boy Wonder’ this year and the whole record is a perfect, almost ‘old-school’ dream pop/shoegaze journey that we highly recommend.
