Mocean by Jack Landess is sort of a standard bedroom pop track. But what stands out to me are the vocal melodies, it is not just about the vibe, I’m convinced this track would sound great even as a folk song, only with an acoustic guitar and Landess’s voice. The song was all written and produced by the musician himself and I can’t wait to hear the whole EP that should be out this year. Because this sounds really promising – great hooks, dreamy atmosphere, entertaining chord progressions, ethereal soundscapes… is this new big bedroom pop name? I wouldn’t be surprised!
