First time I came across Processions was on some Z Tapes label album or compilation a few years ago (sorry, I don’t remember the details, but the name of the band got stuck in my head and that’s the important thing!:). And they sound like most of the artists from these bedroom pop labels (which is not a bad thing at all!): kinda nostalgic, but modern, sort of sad, but upbeat… for me, they’re a definition of bedroom pop. And their new single Coalesce only proves this fact. But it’s not only about the cool vibe that bedroom pop tracks have, you’ll find a lot of strong ideas in this track.
