I haven’t included here many tracks where autotune would play a significant role, even though I consider myself a big fan of this tool, I feel that not many artists use it the way that I truly enjoy. But that’s not the case with Swedish duo MIYNT, on their track So lost the vocals are absolutely terrific and the combination of smooth, catchy melodies and sort of eerie autotune makes this song really enjoyable. The production is splendid as well.

I also don’t include here that many bands that have already made it (at least in the internet world), I try to focus on artists that are overlooked. With MIYNT, it’s quite different, they have already pretty good numbers on streaming services (167k monthly listeners on Spotify – and it’s well deserved!), but somehow their approach to music seems very unique. Also, the video is amazing as well and it reminded me of my favorite Greek movie Dogtooth, which is nicely weird.
