Many of my friends are into garage rock, surf rock and such similar psychedelic genres but I’ve never felt that this type of music is really for me. Somehow the vibe has never quite appealed to me – but from time to time I find a real garage rock gem that I truly enjoy. And yes, that’s the case with So Much More by an American band Dog Walk. But is this even garage rock? I would probably call it slacker rock or lo-fi rock (I actually thought Mac DeMarco is on the vocals here lol) – but I guess that’s not that important. What’s important, that this is one hell of a song.
My favorite part: that chorus! such an earworm, it’s so casual and yet catchy.
