The Trailer Tapes is a project by Indiana based singer-songwriter (haven’t found his name unfortunately!). Bottoming Out is a pretty simple slowcore/bedroom pop song with quite raw production that suits the song very well. It has nice melancholic, sad vibe, but at the same time it feels peaceful to me. I can imagine driving in my car at night through an empty town and listening to this tune and feel relieved. The very last minute of the song reminds me of my favorite (and heavily underrated) band Idaho, so if you like them too, check this out as well!
My favorite part: that mix of male and female vocals (Billie Lynn on the vocal) is just beautiful (after 1:55); fragile and subtle.
