I guess I’m really in love with Swedish artists. Everytime I hear something new from this Scandinavian country I ask myself ‘how come they’re so good’? I would expect to write here about more German/French/Italian artists… but very often it’s Sweden – only 10 million inhabitans, but a ton of great artists with very mature style. The Knife, The Tallest Man on Earth, First Aid Kit, José Gonzalez… maybe there’s something in the water, I don’t know:)

Anyway, Alba James is another one of these great Swedish artists, her new single Tired is fragile and emotive, yet very melodic and even catchy, the best part of the song for me is definitely that 1:30-2:30 section: amazing natural and warm production, perfect harmonies, emotions… That’s exactly what I’m looking for in this indie folk genre.
