Oisin Mod is an Irish singer-songwriter and Honeycomb is only his second released single. The first thing that caught my attention here were the guitars that remind me of western atmosphere of Orville Peck’s music. Cowboys, mountains and desert. The production on Honeycomb is quite simple but it suits Oisin Mod’s style well, I feel that overproduction could really harm this track. The vocal is very quiet and intimate, sounds a bit like Elliott Smith on his early releases, even though Oisin Mod is more casual and lazy (in a good way).

My favorite part: the chorus is supermelodic and gets stuck in your head immediately!
