Sea Lemon is one of the first artists that I discovered thanks to my blog. (That was my main motivation at the beginning – to create a platform that could help me keep up with the current indie underground scene, partly because I grew tired of listening to albums only by famous names like Phoebe Bridgers, Father John Misty etc., partly because I love supporting unknown artists…).
…and right away it was quite apparent to me that Sea Lemon has an enormous potential. Her vocal is gorgeous, I absolutely love the way she works with her voice in her songs, it sounds a bit nostalgic, emotive, smooth and somehow familiar. Hew new song Eraser has more melancholic vibe than her previous singles (I highly recommend Sunday and Fortune Teller as well) and I think that it’s a nice change, even this less upbeat and cheerful mood suits her music really well…
