Rupe is a bedroom pop project of Louisiana singer-songwriter Rupert Lange. He writes, records and produces all of his music and that definitely deserves a lot of respect, because to put it simply, he sounds amazing 💚

I feel in my bones that growing up is strange could be pretty huge in the indie scene (come on, Spotify, put it into your big playlists), it’s just a perfect bedroom pop tune. Very melodic, and in combination with pleasant, warm production, this simply has to attract many new listeners. (if the right people will come across this track, of course…). Such a great nostalgic vibe that sort of reminds me of Hovvdy. After some time, another 5-star track (together with new Troll Dolly).

My favorite part: Even though the vocal here is mesmerizing and the melodies catchy, I like that fantastic shoegazy bridge at around 2.10-2.30 the most!
