The Moon Caravan is the project of Venezuelan-American multi instrumentalist Andy Moon. Initially formed in Miami ten years ago, Moon later relocated to Portland, OR, where he started working on his own kind of lo-fi pop. The Moon Caravan is a collective consisting of Moon’s friends.
Solo Por Ti is in Spanish language – and I think it’s the first track on this blog in this language. I don’t speak the language but it’s really beautiful, in combination with indie genre (you mostly hear English songs in this genre), it creates truly unique atmosphere. The Moon Caravan also reminds me of my favorite late 60s psychedelic album by Dave Bixby – Ode to Queatzalcoatl. Beautiful reverb on the vocal, captivating vocal… check out the whole EP Apollo that has very nice psychedelic vibe.
