Buff Ginger is an American singer-songwriter – and sort of mysterious one for me, haven’t found any information about them – but according to their Spotify stats I suppose they’re from New York:) Buff Ginger released their latest album I Don’t Like Haunted Houses already in 2021, but why not to discover some overlooked records from the past?
Doggy Salon has very ‘Hovvdy’ vibe: nostalgic guitar riffs, pleasant atmosphere, simple yet compelling instrumentation and a beautiful vocal. I like how buried it is on this track, Buff Ginger surely know how to work with their voice so it sounds this amazing.
