Mouse are a 4 piece indie band from Brisbane, Australia. Recently I’ve noticed that I really love bands from this continent, I think like 20 % of artists that I share here must be either from Australia or New Zealand:) I just love their vibe I guess. And it’s the same case with mouse, their music is just so pleasant. I mean, it has this melancholic and sad atmosphere, but somehow it gives you also this feeling that everything will be alright again. I like when music is this emotive. To sum it up, Mouse is a perfect combination of Galaxie 500 and Slowdive:)
My favorite part: when you think the chorus can’t get any better, here comes 1:25 part and you’re simply blown away. Fantastic songwriting.
