Motel Void: Last year we made an interview w/ you about your first singles, now you’ve released two new songs – The Trucker Song and I Wanna Live in Europe One Day. What was the writing/recording process behind these songs?

GRIFFIN: Cam, Jakob and I just jammed in my old apartment and came up with most of these on the spot. “Europe” was a trick to compose with all the linear parts but still mostly came from that jam session

Motel Void: You mention Europe in one of your new songs. Would you really want to move here?:) And what about a European tour…?

GRIFFIN I would love to move to Europe! One of my friends bands, American Poetry Club, is touring Europe and I desperately wish I could say the same hahaha.

Motel Void: What are your other plans with Friendly Faces for 2022? Do you have any shows planned in Chicago?

GRIFFIN: We have one show planned with my other band Yin Waster and we are already writing more music!
