Nadia Kamrath is a young singer-songwriter who writes soft and vulnerable indie-pop songs: “Songwriting is my favorite thing in the whole world and I’ve been doing it since I can remember.” And her new single Feel This Once clearly shows that she’s also really good at it.
We usually try to focus on more experimental type of indie music here on Motel Void, but Kamrath is such a talented musician that it would be a shame to give this song a pass. It’s just so well written…! I think that with a bit of luck, Kamrath could join acclaimed female artists like Soccer Mommy and Julien Baker, it’s the same tier for me in terms of quality. Her songwriting is simply just as good.
My favorite part: Kamrath’s vocal on this track is truly mesmerizing, but what I enjoyed the most was that fantastic guitar part at 2:00-2:20. Very refreshing!
