We already wrote here about one track by Conflict at Serenity Pools (CASP) – Corn Cobs, which is one of my favorite tracks from 2022 – a true indie gem, if you still haven’t heard, you’re making a big mistake!
I really love the experimental vibe of CASP’s music that blends genres like indie rock, lo-fi, indie pop, even synth pop, bedroom pop and many more… I have also respect for prolific artists and CASP already released two albums this year – Type A (out in April), followed by Type B which came out this May. Pretty impressive. And Rocky Waves hasn’t even come out on any of these albums – it’s a brand new track. Cool! Again, the production on this is very playful, the whole track is full of interesting ideas, the melodies are catchy… simply one of my favorite indie bands for sure!
Conflict at Serenity Pools (CASP) is from Los Angeles, California. While not making music, CASP manages a flower shop called flower boy project. They also shoot film and make visual art, and draw from a collective of inspiration.
