Songs we love: Four – Can’t Swim

Most contemporary indie artists prefer writing songs with rather positive, carefree vibe. I don’t know if Spotify and their chill playlists are to blame, but I’m kinda getting tired of those same cool and nice indie tracks to be honest… so I’m always happy when I come across a band that isn’t afraid to sound a little angrier, sadder, weirder… more melancholic. This is the case with Can’t Swim by Boston based band Four. The song stars with very significant bass riff, sounding almost a bit like something from Nirvana, then the vocal is reminiscent of the recent British wave launched years ago by King Krule. But as a whole Four sounds very unique and they already managed to develop their own sound.
