In recent weeks, I’ve been doing nothing but touring music festivals around Europe. And it’s a bit of a shame that I don’t come across music that is similar to Bark Dog that often. That’s the thing about Europe I guess… we need more Bark Dogs here!

Bark Dog is the recording project of a prolific 23-24 year old nonbinary experimental musician/artist blair jasper (they/them). They have already released 11 albums in their career, which is pretty impressive! Just like the new song grateful: the song resembles Alex G’s earlier material, however, thanks to the vocal expression, it has its characteristic sound and feels pretty unique to me.

My favorite part: the break at the end when the piano and jasper’s voice pop out. I absolutely love that.
