Oliver Proudfoot is a British singer/songwriter based in Regional France. His music is a balanced combination of dreamy melodic folk and blues arrangements that create and provide the mellifluous platform for earnest words and personal sentiments.
When I heard the first notes of his new single Rosalita, I swear I thought this was a side project of a Swedish singer-songwriter The Tallest Man on Earth. Proudfoot sounds suspiciously similar to him! His voice is almost indistinguishable in some parts… which is a big compliment because I love The Tallest Man. And the quality is similar also when it comes to songwriting and guitar skills – acoustic guitar on this track sounds really delicious, the production is splendid… To sum it up, you can hardly find a more pleasant folk song right now!
