I was immediately intrigued by the title You in Your Rare Ugliness (and the name Welcome Strawberry is cool as well… and did I mention the album cover? Beautiful!). SO this was exactly my type of music and I knew right away that I would like this. And the first notes of the song proved it: imaginative guitars, natural and sort of raw production…
I remembered when I was driving on The Loneliest Road in America a few years ago. Hundreds of miles, almost no cars, no people… def one of my favorite experiences, and this song took me back on that road for some reason.
My favorite part: Vocal melodies here are absolutely beautiful. After some time I have to go with a 5-star rating again.
