Occult X is a fairly successful indie musician, at least on streaming platforms – on Spotify his songs reach on more than 100 thousand streams and it’s completely understandable why! What he does is simply perfect within the genre. There is a beauty in simplicity. Plain, yet sort of crunchy and raw guitar riffs, absolutely disarming vocal performance, gloomy, but at the same time sort of exciting retro vibe… everything about this track is just good.
Take Me Back is not a very experimental track, but within its genre it is definitely one of the most pleasant songs I have heard in a long time.
