There is something nicely strange about The Baker’s Basement. They give me this likeable outsider impression, yet the music they make sounds extremely confident and cool.
I have not heard such excellent melodies and such great vocal expression in a long time. The Baker’s Basement really have an ear for catchy melodies. If someone more famous wrote Words I Need To Say, I believe it would be a hit that would spin on Netflix tv shows. The production is also pretty solid, nothing extra showy, that’s what I like!
