Haven’t found much information about this Bleak Year project on the internet, only that it’s based out of Oakland, CA and that they’ve got a couple of releases… here are 5 reasons why I love Baseball Bats:

1. one of the most beautiful covers I’ve seen in a while
2. that intro! super entertaining, I just love that playful synth, the melody is cute
3. the production on this is splendid, exactly my style, nothing too shiny and polished, everything is mixed so well, especially the vocal… feels pretty natural
4. the vocal 💚 really pleasant melodies, great color of the voice as well
5. the atmosphere – it’s kinda sad and nostalgic, but it fills me joy
