jamie gloo is an american singer-songwriter about whom i could not find any information on the internet – I don’t know where he comes from, what he looks like, he’s not on Spotify either… (maybe an ideal material for one of my future interviews!) But this is quite typical of artists in 2023 who do not reveal much about their lives. Never mind!
i saw the m00n is a relatively simple but at the same time very emotional song. Gloo’s vocals are sort of high in the mix and really clear, and although I usually prefer when the vocal is a bit more buried, here it works perfectly like this. Mostly thanks to the fantastic, catchy vocal melody (And gloo’s voice is amazing as well)
The melody keeps repeating until more background vocals join and then the song starts slowly fading away in a very atmospheric way. What would I give for an album full of similarly constructed songs! Five stars. That was easy.
