Soot Sprite have made several appearances on our blog, and now they’re back with an incredible new single, All My Friends Are Depressed.
Few bands manage to channel as much drive, raw energy, and emotional depth as this UK based trio from Exeter. Their sound effortlessly blends elements of some of my favorite bands – most notably, Hop Along, Wednesday and Daughter.
Once again, All My Friends Are Depressed is carried by the brilliant vocals of Elise Cook. However, but it would be unfair to place her voice above the music itself – Soot Sprite’s sound is defined by its cohesive, high-quality musicianship. Every element is carefully crafted, and instrumentally, this track is nothing short of a delight.
If you’re into intelligent rock with anthemic, high-energy choruses, All My Friends Are Depressed is bound to captivate you.
