New Tanuki Suit by Enemy Airship (indie band from St. Louis, Missouri) is a pretty solid indie rock track. It’s not anything particularly new, but it’s really well-made and highly entertaining. The guitars on this track remind me of calmer version of Built to Spill – just many interesting ideas thrown together and in the end it works soo well, nothing chaotic.
And even though I’m not usually a fan of long instrumental parts, here it feels very fresh. Music-wise, the track sounds upbeat, but the most important thing for me is the vocal here: very smooth and relaxing melodies that remind me of my favorite Canadian band The Weakerthans.
