REVIEW: RAINY DAY CAFÉ – WHEN I’M OLDER

Rainy Day Café is the recording project of Ben Williams, a young songwriter and recording enthusiast whose work combines lo-fi charm with a DIY approach.

The new single When I’m Older comes from the new EP of the same name that will be released this spring. It’s a track that’s around two minutes long and it carries a pleasant, slightly nostalgic atmosphere. I can sense a bit of the Beatles vibe mixed with the effortless style of Mac DeMarco.

It’s an ideal, laid-back song with refined DIY production that works beautifully and sounds delightful. Highly recommended!

Rating: 4 out of 5.
